Walmart hired its 100,000th Vet in October as part of its commitment to hire 250,000 Veterans by 2020. Walmart has also set-aside $20 million dollars to assist organizations that provide services and programs to assist Veterans in job placement and the education needed to achieve the careers they desire. Walmart is not simply Green Lighting a Veteran on November 11, 2015- Veteran’s Day- but has demonstrated a commitment to recognize Veterans for their contributions and service, by putting forth effort and dollars to make sure we give back to our brave men and women who make the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
So on this Veteran’s Day Green Light a Vet and let that green light signal your efforts to GO the distance every day to make the life of a Veteran and his/her family easier. They deserve it. GO – GREEN LIGHT- a Vet.
